Super Saiyan 3 (SSJ3) is the third form that Traitless and Prodigy players unlock.
Unlocking[ | ]
To unlock SSJ3, the player must first master Super Saiyan 2. Afterwards, dying to Golem while in SSJ2 will revive them as a SSJ3.
Alternatively, the Dragon Balls' Awakening wish will unlock SSJ3 if SSJ2 is mastered and Plantera has been defeated.
Notes[ | ]
- As a SSJ3, you will lose 20 Health/s if the form is unmastered and while under 30% max Ki. If the form is mastered, this is reduced to 10 Health/s.
Trivia[ | ]
- SSJ3 is currently the only form that conditionally drains Health, and the only non-Kaioken form to drain health.
- SSJ3 and LSSJ2 are currently the only forms whose Awakening wish conditions can be fulfilled before their regular unlock conditions (excluding SSJG, which has no wish condition).
- However, while Duke Fishron, whose defeat allows LSSJ2 to be unlocked, can be defeated before the Martian Madness, or vice-versa, Plantera must be defeated before Golem, giving SSJ3 the distinction of requiring the Awakening condition to be fulfilled before the unlock condition.
- This form was first shown in the battle between Son Goku and Majin Buu.
- The only canonical users of this form are Son Goku and Gotenks.
